FDC: Regency Jane gowns

Finally available to the public and released in the two special Fasion Designer Challenge stores: Regency Jane gown :) It was huge fun to be a part of this challenge at the initiative of Samsara Nishi and boy did we have a blast! We kicked off yesterday with a dazzling fashionshow at the Patch Tibaud Auditorium :) Missed the show? No worries, May 16th there's gonna be another!

I was challenged by Neferia Abel to create the following:

"Regency dress - The high waisted graceful styles of early 19th century are known as the Empire style.
think Jane Austen,Pride & Prejudice" - Neferia Abel

And here's what i did, the Regency Jane gown. The gown comes with two high waisted empire styled skirts, one lean version and one wider version with a different texture in the front. I made a big sunhat with flowers to match and pearl simple but elegant jewelry to go with it. Short sophisticated gloves are icluded and the clothing comes on all layers. Three colors available:

These gowns and the creations of 35 talented other designers in this challenge are available from now till May 17th in the special FDC stores:

FDC store @ Road to Oz
FDC store @ Sn@tch city

Check out Neferia's review of this dress and see what she had to say about it! Stay tuned for my review of Ina Centaur's challenge in the next post!
